The short version
You give us your order and your trust. We deliver the gift on time, look after the data carefully, and refund you fairly if something goes wrong. We're a small studio in Osu — we'd much rather fix a problem than fight about it.
The detailed terms below win where there's any conflict with this summary.
Who can use this
You can use Celebrate Right if you're 18 or older and legally able to enter into a contract under Ghanaian law. If you're buying on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business.
We're based in Accra, Ghana. We deliver across Greater Accra and can arrange diaspora-funded gifts (you pay from abroad, we deliver locally).
Your account
For most of what we do, you don't need an account — orders go through with just your name, phone, and address. If we add customer accounts later (Phase 2), you'll be responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for everything done from your account.
Admin accounts (for studio team members) are invite-only and governed by our internal handbook.
Orders & pricing
- All prices are in Ghana Cedis (GH₵) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- Delivery fees are calculated at checkout based on the recipient's location.
- We try hard to keep stock and pricing accurate. If a product is unavailable or pricing is clearly wrong, we may cancel the order and issue a full refund.
- An order is only confirmed once you've received our confirmation message (WhatsApp or email).
- We may decline orders we believe are fraudulent, abusive, or otherwise inappropriate.
Payment
Payments are processed by Paystack. We accept Mobile Money (MTN, Telecel, AirtelTigo), Visa, and Mastercard. Diaspora customers can pay with international cards.
We don't see or store your card details. Paystack is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified. If a payment is declined, we'll let you know and the order won't go through.
Delivery
Full details are in our Delivery Policy. In brief:
- Same-day delivery in Accra for orders placed before 1:00 PM.
- Next-day delivery for orders placed after the cutoff.
- We'll make up to two delivery attempts. If the recipient is unreachable both times, we'll contact you to arrange a third attempt or a different drop-off.
- You're responsible for the accuracy of the delivery address. Re-deliveries to a corrected address may incur a fee.
Cancellations & refunds
Full details are in our Refund Policy. Headlines:
- Cancel for free up to 3 hours before the scheduled delivery window.
- Damaged on arrival, wrong item, or no-show by us — full refund or replacement at your choice.
- Custom items (personalised cakes, custom bouquets, QR memory cards) are non-refundable once production begins, except for our error.
Gift messages & custom content
You're responsible for what you write in gift messages, custom briefs, and memory cards. By submitting content, you confirm:
- You have the right to share it (especially photos of other people).
- It's not unlawful, defamatory, hateful, or threatening.
- You grant us a limited licence to use the content for the sole purpose of fulfilling your order.
We reserve the right to refuse to print or display content that breaches the above, and we'll refund you in full if we do.
QR memory cards
- Cards are editable by the buyer for 30 days after creation. After that, content is locked.
- The buyer owns the right to delete the card at any time. Deletion is permanent.
- We'll host the content for as long as the buyer maintains the card. If hosting fees ever change, we'll give you 30 days' notice.
- Don't upload anything you wouldn't want a guest to see over the recipient's shoulder.
Blueprints
- Blueprints are digital PDFs, sold for personal use only. You may print them and use them in your own home / for your own event.
- You may not resell, repackage, or distribute them.
- Each purchase grants up to 5 downloads within 7 days using a secure link. If you lose access, contact us — we'll re-issue it.
- Refunds on blueprints are only available if you haven't downloaded the file yet.
Reminder service
When you subscribe to our reminder service, we'll message you at T-7, T-3, and T-1 days before the date you saved, on the channel you chose (WhatsApp or SMS). You can cancel at any time by replying STOP or by emailing us.
Standard message rates from your carrier may apply for SMS fallback. WhatsApp messages from us are free for you.
How not to use us
You agree not to:
- Place fraudulent orders or use stolen payment details.
- Use the service to harass, threaten, or send unsolicited messages to recipients.
- Scrape, copy, or reproduce our site or product photography for commercial use without permission.
- Attempt to break into our systems, probe for vulnerabilities, or disrupt service.
- Resell our products or blueprints as your own.
Breach of these may result in account termination, order cancellation without refund, and / or referral to law enforcement.
Intellectual property
All site content — branding, photography, written copy, blueprint PDFs, code — is owned by Celebrate Right or licensed to us. The editorial design system, including the wavy-underline mark and the ✻ ornament, is our trade dress.
Customer-submitted content (your gift messages, your memory card photos) remains yours. We only use it to fulfil your order, per Section 8 above.
Disclaimers
We do our best to keep the site running and the information accurate, but we offer it “as is” without any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose beyond what Ghanaian consumer law requires.
Specifically: flowers are perishable. We choose stems carefully and ship them fresh, but they will wilt within days and we can't guarantee identical appearance to the website photo (every bouquet is hand-arranged from that day's stock).
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Ghanaian law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the order in question.
We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses (e.g., loss of profits, loss of reputation, emotional distress from a late delivery beyond a refund). This doesn't exclude liability for gross negligence, fraud, or anything else that can't be excluded under law.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Celebrate Right against any third-party claim arising from content you submit (gift messages, memory card uploads, custom briefs) that breaches Section 8 — for example, a third party complaining about being named or photographed without consent.
Termination
You can stop using the service at any time. We can terminate or suspend access if you breach these terms, with reasonable notice where possible (immediately where the breach is serious).
Sections that should reasonably survive termination — IP, liability limits, indemnity, governing law — survive.
Governing law & disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana. Any dispute that we can't resolve directly will be heard by the courts of Ghana.
If you're a consumer based outside Ghana, your local consumer-protection law may give you additional rights that override anything inconsistent here.
Before going to court, please give us a chance: email [email protected] with the issue. We typically resolve complaints within five business days.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be posted here with an updated “Last updated” date, and for significant changes we'll notify customers we have contact details for. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
